Freedom Solar Power is looking for a Regional Operations Manager (ROM) to oversee all aspects of the day to day residential installation and warehouse operations. Duties will include managing production/workflow of residential solar installs, overseeing warehouse operations, ensuring proper inventory of work supplies, and managing profitability of residential operations.

You must be a highly organized, goal-oriented professional with effective communication and leadership skills, with a proven record of operating in a high function/fast-paced work environment and can work independently with minimum oversight.

A typical day may include:

  • Managing installation metrics and efficiency for region.
  • Holding morning meetings with installation crews/electricians to ensure team readiness and expectations for every solar installation project.
  • Tracking and reporting regional metrics including installed Kw tracking and forecasting.
  • Overseeing project workflow and prepares residential solar installation projects.
  • Responsible for production (kW installed) to meet sales demand for assigned region.
  • Responsible for variable cost for assigned region including but not limited to labor, materials, shipping and office staff.
  • Responsible for managing and reporting efficiency performance of all team members in the region.
  • Communicating with customers on post installation to ensure customers satisfaction and any other correspondence.
  • Supervising regional project velocity including speed from sale to inspection passed to meet company standards set by management.
  • Managing quality and safety of crew and products.
  • Partnering with recruitment in hiring, terminations, and training of staff. Performs any disciplinary process and procedures and performance reviews.
  • Responding to customer inquiries, complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assisting with other duties as assigned by Director of Residential Operations and/or COO.

Job Requirements Entails:

  • 2 years+ of previous project management or equivalent experience
  • Prior renewable energy, manufacturing, construction, or utility experience
  • Prior Electrical experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities you should possess:

  • Knowledge of general electrical and solar processes
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft suite and Google Suite
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to prioritize and complete a variety of simultaneous tasks with a high level of organization.
  • Ability to meet motor vehicle requirements and maintain a valid Texas driver license.
  • Ability to operate office equipment including computers and determine accuracy of work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
