Job Title: Software Engineer

Location: Raleigh / Wake Forest NC - Hybrid

Job Type: Full-time/Permanent

Client is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to support a wide range of solutions for students, staff, and partners. This is a full-stack development position. The ideal candidate must perform all aspects of the development cycle (plan, develop, test, and deploy).

This is a full-time position located in the Raleigh / Wake Forest, NC area. One day a week the team will meet in the Raleigh / Wake Forest area at a co-working facility. The rest of the week you can work from home. Standard working days & hours are expected - Mon-Fri 9 am - 5 pm.

General Responsibilities

• Work as part of an agile team to achieve common goals and challenges.
• Help complete the corporate strategic initiatives and projects assigned by management, the officers, and the universities supported.
• Flexible understanding of duties that will include software development, software design, development operations, and any other tasks that might be requested that are either related or unrelated to the posted job description.

Required Qualifications

• An Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent education/experience in software development
• At least 5 years of professional software development experience
• Agile (Scrum)
• Full Stack Development Experience
• Demonstrable experience in C#, and Microsoft .Net Core
• Demonstrable experience in modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
• Demonstrable experience with modern JavaScript and modern frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue
• Have a strong understanding of relational database technologies such as MySQL or Oracle and SQL language
• Able to write and understand SQL without the use of an ORM
• Basic QA understanding and experience
• Isolated and dedicated work area with High-Speed internet

Soft Skills

• Fluent in English, reading, writing, and speaking
• Strict attention to detail and time management skills
• Multitasking - the ability to handle multiple unrelated tasks

Desired Qualifications

• Raleigh/Durham/Wake Forest, NC - Triangle region
• .Net Core 6.0 or greater
• Experience with Angular version 9+
• Oracle MySQL Enterprise 8.0+
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences or Information Systems
• Cloud development experience
• Speak or translate Spanish

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to $100,000.00 per year
