Louis Allis manufactures industrial electric motors for some of the most demanding applications worldwide. Louis Allis is currently looking for 1st shift Shipping/Receiving/Driver position to join the team at its facility in Warrior, Alabama.
Salary Range: $16.00 to $20.00 based on experience.

Job Duties:
- Prepares orders for shipment.
- Uses freight company approved by production manager.
- Prepares bill of lading for all outgoing shipments.
- Obtains, assembles, and follows through on paperwork necessary for shipping.
- Observes all safety procedures and use proper protection gear (especially eye and ear protection).
- Keeps work area neat and clean as directed by supervisor.
- Maintains a professional attitude when representing the company during phone or personal contact with outside vendors, customers or service providers, etc.
- Confers with shop supervisors as necessary to ensure effective inter-departmental coordination and customer satisfaction.
- Backup for stockroom coordinator.
- Transports and delivers goods in accordance with a schedule, including emergency, rush deliveries, or pick-ups that require overtime.
- Verifies count and condition of transported items, reporting any damage as applicable.
- Assists in loading and unloading freight as required.
- Secures loads properly.
- Assures that loads are within weight limits.
- Operates company vehicles in a safe manner; maintains a good driving record.
- Complies with all Department of Transportation (DOT) standards and regulations.
- Reports any vehicle problems or defects to the supervisor immediately.
Experience:
- 2+ years of on-the-job experience in a similar role.
