Do you have a handicap accessible home in Windham or Windsor Counties of Vermont? Or would you be willing to make it accessible? This 29 year old woman is sweet and enjoys humor. She loves going to Zack’s place in Woodstock with her peers. Enjoys cooking, music, yoga, going for walks, and watching cartoons! She also loves animals and children! This young lady currently resides with her parents in the Woodstock area and would ideally like to stay in the immediate area, although exceptions can be made for the right candidate. This young woman would need a home provider that has a handicap accessible home, as she is non- ambulatory. She will need full care support with feeding, dressing, showering, incontinence, etc. A walk in shower would be ideal as this young lady utilizes a shower chair. She utilizes an electric chair. The SLP selected would have access to her personal accessible van for ease of transportation. The family would like to find an SLP that would support this young lady roughly four days a week or more, as she would be home with her family the remainder of the time. You would receive a tax free stipend as well as a monthly room and board payment paid by the individual. You would also receive ongoing support from the individual’s team including case management and other potential agency services.
