What does a Service Technician do at Swire Coca-Cola?

You get to work directly with the customer to prepare the physical location for Coca-Cola products to be served ice cold! Customer service and technical skill, like repairing soda fountain machines, makes this job a perfect blend, a true Service Technician.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing Fountain, Cooler, Vendor Maintenance and Repair ensuring their effective operation
• Understanding all Fountain Beverage dispensing equipment and related installation procedures
• Providing excellent customer experience
• Maintain Swire Coca-Cola’s standards of excellence
• Interacting with customers, supervisors and coworkers, company sales personnel and service dispatchers maintaining a good, and professional working relationships.
• Relocate and move soda fountains, glass door coolers, or vending machines.
• Load machines and deliver for unloading at designated location.
• Diagnose, repair and install fountain machines, glass door coolers, and vending machines in an orderly sequence.
• Ensure proper functionality (clean, test and repair equipment before and after installation) of machines for the consumer to use.
• Maintain accurate parts inventory: Use hand held computer device to manage, document, stock, and change parts for quality assurance and excellent customer care.
• Report inventory accurately for business accountability.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history
• Class B CDL required
• Related experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate
• Customer Service skills.
• Ability to multi-task
• Effective communication skills
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge and problem-solving skills
• Ability to use basic hand tools
• Willingness to learn

Base pay range is $22.47 to $ 24.97. Pay offered will depend on candidate’s geographic location, prior relevant experience, knowledge, skills, & abilities, plus On Call premium ($15 per day during scheduled week)

Employees and families offered Medical, Dental, Vision; union pension with employer contributions; Sick pay awarded at 1 hour per 40 hours work, annually 7 paid holidays plus 2 floating holidays; Vacation of 3-1/3 hours per remaining full month in current calendar year; Eligible for paid Bereavement and Jury Duty.
