The Role


Mission


Become an expert in Service Planning and Logistics primarily focusing on scheduling field service repairs for Low Pressure and Greenfield service teams. Promote best practices and utilize knowledge to provide support for key national/global accounts. Schedule and provide support for all shop and field service repairs of equipment, providing regular updates to the Service Manager and the customers. You will work with the Service Manager to coordinate the activities of the Service Department. Serve as information liaison between the Service Manager, Service Technicians, Parts Specialist, and customers.


Provide field support to operational teams on business KPI’s to promote operational efficiency.


Roles and Responsibilities


Service Scheduling (85%) –
Receive incoming calls for service and installation of equipment and schedule all shop and field service jobs in COPS system. Work with the Service Manager to coordinate the activities of the Service Department and maximize Service Technician utilization. Confirm service schedules with customers and technicians. Providing regular updates to customers regarding service that is in process. Manage and control work in progress, research complex problems and resolve as needed thru service order. Facilitate new customer set-ups in Company systems, including obtaining credit applications, requesting system set-ups by Credit Analysts. Report problems that service technicians are having to the Service Manager.


Service Administration (10%) – Secure purchase orders for service work and verify terms and conditions with customers. Track and file relevant paperwork. Order, track, follow up and expedite parts as needed. Review, verify and process service orders for invoicing.


Production Builds System Support (5%)–
Work with CNG teams and NSC to provide material service support to include initial purchase order data setup for material builds, creations/executions of completed material orders within SAP systems.


Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer- oriented image to customers.


Perform all duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer.


Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees considered necessary to get the job done.

What we expect of you?


Experience


SAP experience preferred or equivalent work experience in a customer service environment supporting planning and logistic functions.


Education


High School diploma required with previous administration and planning experience, two year degree or higher required if no relevant experience in administration.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex processes
  • Ability to influence in a positive way without direct authority
  • Excellent attention to detail with continuous improvement thinking.
