Server/Expo Job Description

Report Relationship: Clubhouse Manager, Food and Beverage Director, Dining Room Manager

Objective: Carriage Club is looking for versatile servers/expeditors that are able to provide outstanding food and beverage service to our membership through attention to detail, building relationships and providing an enjoyable dining experience. Exceptional candidates will be trained in multiple outlets in the Club and will be scheduled throughout the various outlets on a regular basis. Flexibility is a must.

Server/Expo is responsible but not limited to the following:

· Arrive to work on time and in full uniform, including name tag and a ready to work attitude

· Acknowledge members by name

· Always smile!!!

· Knowledgeable about food menu, drink menu and daily innovations

· Understands and implements the Carriage Club Steps of Service

· Take accurate orders from member and input them in Jonas in a timely manner

· Being aware of all tables in the dining room, not just one section

· Server and Expo must be able to carry a tray with entrée plates

· Server and Expo is to place all dishware at appropriate dish station

· Server is to be able to multi-task and take care of more than one table at a time

· Maintain a clean working environment throughout their whole shift

· Stock all items for service per par sheet

· Server & Expo is responsible for dining room set up, all tables should look the exact same

· Water pitchers are set up before each shift

· Server is responsible for up selling all drinks and food

· Comply with all food and beverage regulations

· Assist all other servers, snack bar attendants, bartenders and food runners

· Server and Expo is responsible for all closing duties on Closing side work sheet

· Server must be able to change Coke Freestyle cartridges, BIB’s and CO2 correctly

· Team member will use appropriate recycling and trash bins

· Server is responsible for all other duties assigned by manager on duty

Expo Duties:

• General knowledge of the food menu
• Able to lift a tray with food items on it
• Knowledge of table numbers by memory to drop off food
• Maintains exceptional cleanliness of expo station

All full time employees are eligible for benefits. This position pays $14.00 an hour plus tips. Carriage Club will guarantee $20.00 an hour (including your tips)
