A Little Bit About the Position

Are you a talented Senior Software Engineer looking for your next challenge? Gemini Legal is seeking a dynamic individual to leverage their expertise in modern tech stacks and spearhead the development of our next-generation product, replacing a legacy software. You will work closely with highly-collaborative cross functional teams, including product managers, designers, and a scrum master, to deliver a world-class product that exceeds customer expectations. • Location: The ideal candidate lives in the greater Sacramento area and is open to a flexible hybrid-remote work schedule in our Rocklin, CA office. We will also consider candidates who live in California, Idaho, Oregon, Nevada, or Washington and are willing to travel for in-person events up to a few times a year.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (PST/PDT)
• Compensation: $125,000-$155,000 per annum

Requirements

• 5-8 years of progressive related experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of Ruby, React, or comparable development experience in a professional environment
• 2 years source code control using Git
• Experience with SQL, GraphQL, and REST APIs
• Experience with Devops and AWS or Google Cloud
• Advanced knowledge of macOS and Linux operating systems and networking
• Be an individual contributor (very hands-on) as well as able to guide and mentor team members
• Knowledge of best practices for securing data
• Strong testing background
• Ability to QA and provide code reviews
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Lean and Agile software development methodologies
• Familiarity with project management tools (Asana is a plus)
• Must pass pre-employment screening
