Join Gopuff’s North America Retail team as a Senior Manager, where you will manage top-line growth initiatives and merchandising planning for our brick-and-mortar brands. As part of the Retail Strategy team, you will report to the Director, GM of Market Strategy and Management working cross-functionally with the Merchandising, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Pricing teams. As a member of the team, you’ll have an inherent bias towards action and the ability to bring multiple stakeholders together with shared alignment to drive positive outcomes for the business. You Will:

  • Develop and maintain the alcohol and brick-and-mortar merchandising and marketing calendar, working with stakeholders from Merchandising, Marketing, and Operations to maintain the source of truth for what is happening and when it is happening.
  • Manage digital merchandising, marketing channels, CRM, and coupon deployment for Gopuff’s brick-and-mortar brands and integrate them with Gopuff central functions.
  • Produce reporting on brick-and-mortar top-line performance and effectiveness of demand generation channels.
  • Analyze opportunities for driving top-line growth and design experiments to drive key metric changes (e.g., orders, AOV, margin growth).
  • Work with Operations to develop in-store sales programs and incentives that drive top-line growth.
  • Partner with Merchandising Category Leads to develop product-specific offers and model financial impact.
  • Produce ad hoc analysis, reports, and data.
  • Be a strong operator and team player, willing and interested in developing skills across different project areas (operations, marketing, strategic thinking, project management, and data analysis).
  • Excel in an environment with frequently changing goals and perform additional responsibilities necessary to the business.

You Have:

  • 5+ years experience in consulting, investment banking, management consulting, strategy & operations, technology, or related experience; high-growth or early-stage startup experience is a plus.
  • Solid analytical skills. Some proficiency with analytical tools (Looker, SQL).
  • Structured and strategic mindset; ability to break down complex problems and deliver insights & recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Ability to think critically, objectively, and rationally. Reason and communicate in a result-oriented, data-driven manner. High autonomy.
  • Passion for process improvement and thinking creatively about problems and their potential solutions.
  • Excellent prioritization and project management skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Experience with or deep understanding of a P+L.
  • Demand generation experience is a plus but not required.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with limited direction.

Compensation:

  • Gopuff pays employees based on market pricing and pay may vary depending on your location. The salary range below reflects what we’d reasonably expect to pay candidates. A candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.   • Remote - Salary Range (varies based on a cost of labor index for geographic area within United States): USD $138 000 - $181 125
