Key Qualifications
- Highly skilled in C/C++ for embedded systems, including development of drivers/firmware for SoCs
- Development experience on macOS, Unix, or Linux preferred.
- Knowledge of different display technologies, such as Pixel Pipeline, HDMI, Display Port, etc is preferred
- Excellent collaborative skills including written and verbal communication
- Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while confidently driving multiple projects across many teams
- Hard-working and inquisitive, and seek to tackle everyday problems in innovative ways
Description
As a Senior Display Driver Engineer, you will have responsibilities spanning all aspects of display driver including architecture, design, code development, debug and deployment as well as architecting new solutions to address performance, security, stability, simplicity and flexibility. You will need to have both the technical expertise and the interpersonal skills to articulate your ideas, as well as, influence others. Attention to detail and a perseverance to deliver a high-quality, well tested and maintainable code is a requirement.
Education & Experience
Technical BS/MS degree or equivalent years of experience
Additional Requirements
- Nice to have:
- SoC HW bring up and debugging is a plus
- knowledge of display stack, display drivers, video formats, power management strategies, or backlight
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $161,000 and $242,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
