ITC is seeking qualified candidates for Contracts Specialist in Ft. Washington, MD. Personnel must have an active Top Secret security clearance.

Functional Requirement:

Must possess extensive knowledge of contracting for major systems, service contracting, research and development (R&D), and complex programs using a wide range of contracting methodologies such as negotiated contract and commercial acquisition procedures in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), the Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFFARS),and other applicable statutes, supplements, and regulations.

Must possess experience in assisting the development of acquisitions strategies based on market research and solicitations with selection criteria or instructions to enable contract award to satisfy customer requirements.

Specific Functional Requirement:

Must have experience with providing cradle-to-grave contract support, such as, but not limited to, conducting market research, preparing solicitation documentation (pre and post award), reviewing proposals for compliance, performing cost/price evaluations, assisting with negotiation positions, reviewing and processing invoices.

Must have experience supporting AF source selections and major sole source procurements.

Must have a minimum of two years’ experience working with the Government contract writing systems, ConWrite, within the last five years.

Must have experience in managing contract actions from conception to implementation to closeout which includes, but not limited to, maintaining contract file folders and preparing contract modifications.
