ABOUT THE POSITION

The Product Information Management (PIM) System Administrator is primarily responsible for providing global customers with quality product information across channels in local languages. This position will work closely with Digital, IT, Product Management, Marketing, and subject matter experts throughout the organization to develop PIM solutions and is responsible for its results. The ideal candidate can work with, and across, various people, teams, processes, and technologies to guide the organization through digital transformation to establish digital shelf leadership. The candidate is passionate about driving the digital commerce strategy across the organization and is innovative, enthusiastic, and organized with the ability to remove roadblocks and strong creative problem-solving skills.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Work as part of the PIM Team to define, build, and maintain workflows within the PIM platform to improve, operationalize and streamline product enrichment processes across all Brands and Channels.

  • Establish guidelines for collaboration around product content collection, creation, management, syndication, and analysis

  • Create and manage business rules and processes in PIM to support standard work and continuous improvements

  • Determine and implement taxonomy, hierarchies, attributes and user privileges

  • Collaborate with the PIM team to define, measure and report on KPIs to inform successful introduction and use of PIM capabilities, as well as product data quality

  • Identify gaps in product content when mapped to channel requirements, and formulate plans to fill those content gaps to improve the product enrichment process

  • Become a PIM expert, and assist with operational support on new and existing functionality as necessary

  • Develop a strong command of the digital commerce industry landscape

  • Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, set customer expectations, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders

  • Work with product owners and software engineers to define information needed from enterprise solutions for product information and information needed by channels to inform the creation of APIs to provide product content

YOU ARE

  • Adept with time management and problem-solving skills

  • A relentless, versatile learner that is open to change and embraces experimentation to find solutions

  • Passionate about driving the digital commerce strategy across the organization and is innovative, enthusiastic, and organized with the ability to remove roadblocks and strong creative problem-solving skills.

YOU HAVE

  • 5 plus years of Data Management or IT data governance experience in B2B or B2C industry

  • Bachelor’s Degree in science, business, computer science, or related field

  • Product Information Management System experience such as Salsify a plus

  • Demonstrated experience in business systems analysis and support ranging from small system implementations to major systems initiatives.

  • Agile product lifecycle experience preferred

  • Strong planning and organization, priority setting, and project management skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Experience in data collection, interfaces and processes

  • Deep understanding of e-commerce information exchange standards a plus

  • Extensive knowledge of the product lifecycle, attribution, taxonomy models, distribution/publishing practices

  • Understanding of how APIs work and best practices for planning APIs using use cases

  • Proven track record of managing cross platform digital projects with large groups of distributed stakeholders

Salary Range: 81k-135k Annual

**Pay decisions are determined by multiple factors, including what the market is paying, a candidate’s capabilities and skills, years of experience, and internal equity.
