MUST HAVE 5 YEARS + EXPERIENCE IN A PUBLIC ACCOUNTING CPA FIRM TO BE CONSIDERED.

We are looking for a driven and organized person with 6+ years of tax and accounting experience to join our fast-growing, established public accounting firm in Gaithersburg, Maryland, who have the desire to be part of that growth, develop their professional knowledge and ability, and invest the time to become a well-rounded public accountant.

Ideal candidate must have their CPA license and have proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. This person will be supervised and mentored by a Tax Manager within our firm but must have the ability and confidence to work independently and manager staff accountants. Many of our clients are located throughout the DC metro area, some local travel is required.

Duties include: Accounting, business and personal income tax return preparation (MUST,) Income tax planning, Personal Property Tax return preparation, Preparation and distribution of annual tax reporting forms, such as 1099s, and Financial statement preparation. Auditing experience a plus.

Pay: $29.00 - $14,100,654.08 per hour
