Job Profile Summary
SUPPORT TRACK
Responsible for the Implementation of an Enterprise SCADA system. Develop and deploy new automation techniques to reduce operational cost, improve facility runtime and improve environmental stewardship and safety. Support field operations and facility engineering with new facility design and implementation as it relates to automation.
Support Pioneer field operations throughout the Permian by ensuring that Pioneer’s Safely 8760 and Stewardship 365 objectives are met and driven consistently at the field level. Expected to exemplify and enforce HSE policies. Be accountable for tasks being performed on locations to ensure safe work.

Major Responsibilities:
Minimum Requirements:
- Implementation of an Enterprise SCADA system across all Business Assets
- Identify and develop both software and hardware solutions as it relates to SCADA and Automation.
- Work with support staff to insure 24/7 availability of the SCADA system
- Create new facilities within the SCADA application software
- Work with field technicians to resolve and test new devices
- Train field personnel on new equipment
- Develop and maintain standards for programing, hardware and software
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and 5 years supporting SCADA software and field automation. Experience may be considered in lieu of Degree.
- Knowledgeable in database structure and uses
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Fisher ROC, Total Flow and Thermo Fisher Automation RTU’s protocols and configurations
- Experience with Lufkin and Weatherford Pump off Controllers protocols and configurations
- Experience with various types of PLC’s including Allen Bradley and Schneider protocols and the ability to write logic.
- Experience with SCADA software such as Ignition, Cygnet, WonderWare, XSPOC, and ClearSCADA
- Experience with network management software
