Duties
The ideal applicant will be able to:
- Establish engagement with families through a process of collaborative partnership-building
- Establish mutual trust in identifying goals, strengths, and necessary services and supports to the family.
- Assist Head Start families in understanding and using local resources
- Coordinate monthly agency sponsored trainings and family engagement activities
- Promote & support parent involvement in Parent Committee and Policy Council involvement
- Conduct ongoing outreach and recruitment efforts to inform the community of the Early Head Start/Head Start Program
- Assist families in the Early Head Start/Head Start application process
- Facilitate monthly evening meetings throughout Columbia County
Requirements
