Qualifications:

• Must be licensed by the State of Ohio Respiratory Care Board to practice as a Certified or Registered Therapist

• CPR certification

• Neonatal Resuscitation certification within one year of accepting position

• Requires ability to travel between CHWC facilities as needed

Percentage and Primary Schedule:

• PRN- 1% FTE

Essential Job Duties:

The respiratory therapist sets up and operates various types of oxygen and other therapeutic gases, and inhalation equipment to administer prescribed doses of medical gases and aerosolized medications to infant through geriatric patients. Ventilator and BiPap management, high flow oxygen delivery, arterial blood gas draws, and patient assessment skills to manage aerosol and oxygen protocols.
