Fairview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, located within the charming Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia, PA, is seeking to hire compassionate and dedicated Weekend Registered Nurse Supervisors to join our team!

Schedule: Part Time

Shifts:

  • 7am-7pm
  • Weekend work
  • Sign on to work every weekend or every other weekend

The most successful candidate for this position:

  • Has worked at least 1 year as a nurse in a supervisory capacity
  • Has 1 year of experience in a long-term care OR physical rehab setting
  • Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families
  • Possesses effective team problem solving and communication skills
  • Provides oversight and serves as a resource to the direct care staff
  • Provides direct patient care when necessary and/or assigned

The duties and responsibilities:

  • Oversight and serve as a resource to the direct care staff
  • Support to the DON and Unit Managers with staffing and activities as assigned
  • Direct patient care when necessary and/or assigned
  • Protect residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations
  • Document resident care services by charting in patient and department records
  • Promote continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs

The Qualifications:

  • Must possess a Registered Nursing license for the state of Pennsylvania upon hire
  • Ability to perform physical tasks required of skilled nursing
