WHAT IS OZONE IV OR EBO2 (extracorporeal blood oxygenation and ozonation)

How it works:

The RN places an IV in each of the patients arms. Blood exits through one IV, travels through a dialysis-like filter to become ozonated, and returns through the other IV. With this setup, blood comes in contact with minimal foreign surfaces, while maintaining high gas transfer.

EB02 Nurse’s Role and Responsibilities:

• Set up and prep for each EB02 session. This takes approximately 30-45 minutes per client.
• Pre-consult with each guest. Review the consent form and answer any questions that might arise. Discuss the process and benefits with the guest before beginning.
• Facilitate the EB02 process. Approximately 1 hr
• Troubleshoot anything that needs to be taken care of as the EB02 process unfolds
• Tear down of the EB02 supplies post process and dispense
• Put the set up away
• Send the post survey

Compensation: Hourly pay $45 per hour

Schedule:
Mondays 9 am to 5:30 pm

Fridays 9 am to 5:30 pm

Job Type: Part-time
