Full-Time, Nights
3G/H is a 37 bed telemetry/medical surgical unit specializing in orthopedic/neuro/spine patients. This unit has been accredited by the JC as a Total Joint Center for Orthopedic Excellence. The unit also serves as an over flow unit caring for stroke patients and other general telemetry patients. The patient population is transferred as direct admits, the ED, ICU, interventional areas and the PACU.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:
- Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university. In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, an Associate’s Degree in Nursing will be acceptable for initial hire with the understanding that the individual must be enrolled within 12 months in a Bachelors Degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
- Basic Life Support
- ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment
