Hinds-Bock is a Bothell-based manufacturer of bakery and food production equipment and part of the Middleby Corporation family. Hinds-Bock has specialized in designing and manufacturing custom filling, depositing, and pump equipment for customers all over the globe for more than 50 years.

Hinds-Bock has a great opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager in the East Coast Territory to join our team!

Note: Considering candidates in the Puget Sound area of Seattle

Role Responsibilities:

  • Selling product by implementing sales programs and plans, managing representatives.
  • Assisting in developing territory plans by forecasting annual sales quotas for your territory, projecting expected sales volume for existing and new products.
  • Developing new business by identifying new customer and market opportunities; developing sales plans for acquiring new business; overseeing and implementing plans.
  • Meeting sales objectives by training representatives; communicating expectations to reps; assisting reps with the development of sales and action plans; developing and planning sales trips; making sales calls with reps; calling on customers and prospecting; monitoring progress toward achieving goals.
  • Maintaining sales volume and selling price by keeping current with changing customer and market trends, economic indicators and competitors; advising management.
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing professional networks; participating in professional societies.

Requirements:

  • Basic mechanical aptitude with machinery or equipment required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • Very detailed oriented ability to manage many projects simultaneously.
  • Minimum sales experience of three years with either an industry dealer, distributor or rep agency.
  • Foodservice and/or Food/Bakery equipment sales experience a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to include one-on-one and small group presentations.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office with emphasis on Word and Excel
  • Must be able to drive, fly, and meet the rigors of travel several times a month.
