Job Summary


Techniseal, an Oldcastle APG Company, is seeking an Regional Sales Manager to be responsible for the overall sales function of the Techniseal product lines and related accessories. Techniseal has been a world leader for over 35 years in the field of polymeric jointing sand and a renowned manufacturer of products for the cleaning and protection of concrete pavers. This territory will cover Illinois and Wisconsin.


  • Generate demand for our products by educating and training our various customers on the benefits and use of all Techniseal products. Customers include Hardscape/Landscape specialists, dealers, and Manufacturer distributors.
  • Work with Salesforce CRM as your tool for all customer history, cases and performance analytics.
  • Prospect for new accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing customers.
  • Participate in customers' sales meetings and training sessions.
  • Hold products and samples presentations.
  • Research and continually assess your territory, competitors, and competitive products.
  • Continuously acquire in-depth product and market knowledge.
  • Respond to all customer inquiries in a timely manner (within 24 hours).
  • Follow up on all sales leads and book appointments.
  • Execute and close opportunities to meet or exceed all sales targets.
  • Report on sales and provide timely communication with your Manager.
  • Demonstrate success in selling across all product lines.
  • Pre-sale duties include preparing action plans and customized presentations, and performing pre-call research and analysis.
  • Respond to internal and external customer concerns or problems, determine corrective actions, and/or assign response personnel.
  • Participate in regional trade shows as required.


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business, Marketing or related degree and or equivalent in education, training and experience.
  • Two plus years related experience managing a multi-million dollar territory.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Industry experience
  • High sense of urgency with entrepreneurial qualities.
  • Valid driver’s license.
