Summary:
Manage the daily operations and staff at the recycling center. Ensuring the compliance of all company, local, State and Federal regulations.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • All administrative duties associated with the purchasing, processing and shipping of materials.
  • Adhere to all State and Federal reporting requirements within the required timeframe.
  • Accurately maintain all TCEQ/EPA records and reporting requirements
  • Adhere to all TCEQ/EPA standards as per stormwater plan.
  • Safety compliance as per company policy.
  • Maintain equipment and report issues to immediate supervisor ASAP.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with staff, drivers, customers, and the general public
  • Adhere to the standards set forth in the company HSE Policy.
  • Perform annual staff evaluations.
  • Attend all one-to-one and monthly management meetings.
  • Assist in the hiring and training of new staff members.
  • Report all injuries and incidents immediately to your supervisor.
  • Ensure all recycling center staff is being cross-trained.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial data.

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum 1-5 years experience in customer service.
  • Proficiency with computers.
  • Exceptional time management.
  • Professional manner and strong ethical code.
  • Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
  • Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds at a time.
  • Communicate with others and exchange accurate information.
  • Operate a computer and other office machinery or equipment.
  • Ability to move about inside the office to access file cabinets or office machinery.
  • Requires frequent use of keyboard and typing.
