Hanover Company is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill a Real Estate Analyst position in their asset management group. The Real Estate Analyst role provides an opportunity to work with a talented, close-knit team, in addition to frequent interaction with Hanover’s property management, development, and capital market departments. This position will primarily be responsible for helping oversee a portfolio of multifamily assets across the U.S. This position will be working full-time in the Houston office and reports to the Senior Asset Manager Analyst(s).

Responsibilities Include:

• Create and execute annual business plans for multifamily real estate assets
• Monitor rent growth, supply pipeline, and leasing performance in submarkets across the U.S
• Establish market rents and leasing specials for both lease up and stabilized properties
• Set and communicate weekly leasing objectives to the onsite property management teams
• Communicate asset performance to third party equity partners
• Assist in the marketing and due diligence processes related to asset dispositions
• Track weekly and monthly leasing and financial performance
• Assist in portfolio wide initiatives to maximize value to the property level
• Coordinate Asset Management processes with the Global Services team

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree Required. Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Data Science, or related field preferred
• Real estate experience is beneficial, but not required
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Advance/Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills, including the ability to summarize large datasets via formulas, lookups, conditional formatting, and present findings in a visually pleasing way
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of professionals
• Possess strong problem-solving skills with an ability to take initiative and think independently
• Team player with the ability to work with multiple departments and groups within the company
