Quality Tech inspects and or tests in-coming materials & in-process/finished products, ensuring conformance to company quality standards and customers specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary.

• Interpret detailed blueprints, work orders, engineering specifications, and routing sheets to determine material, service and production standards and tolerance limits.
• Inspect critical or defined incoming material from suppliers and document compliance to specifications
• Scan and file purchased part and outside service material inspection/certification documents
• Perform and document first piece, in-process and final inspection on manufactured parts, ensuring conformance to specifications
• Inspect, test and document finished products and assemblies, ensuring conformance to specifications
• Inspect and document finished products are packaged correctly to minimize damage during transportation.
• Analyze inspection results and assist in addressing/resolving problems causing deviations from specifications
• Prepare customer requested certification documents/packages
• Maintain the MRB process
• Coordinate the gage calibration system and utilization of gage lab equipment
• Participate in the ISO 9001:2015 Quality System with 5s audits, continuous improvement projects, internal audits and supplier audits
• Lead the Safety Program

Required Qualifications:

• High School Degree or GED equivalent
• 3 years of related manufacturing experience desired
• Experience in presentation of information to customers, suppliers and other employees of the organization

Work Environment:

• Laboratory / Shop setting
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
