Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Impact Partner, the global leader of automation systems and solutions, is currently offering an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager to work with our Midwest Valve Services team in support of all quality programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Composes, controls, reviews and implements the “VR” and “Assemblers” quality programs in accordance with ASME and NBIC requirements.
• Reviews ASME and NBIC Codes as well as API, MSS and ANSI Standards to ensure compliance.
• Verifies qualifications of audit, inspection and test personnel.
• Schedules and conducts with the General Manager the annual management review of the quality programs and their effectiveness.
• Indoctrinates and trains personnel to the quality manuals and written procedures.
• Implements the internal audit program.
• Reviews vendor certification documentation for compliance to Code requirements.
• Requisitions purchase orders to suppliers of calibration services.
• Reviews and approves calibration certification documentation.
• Maintains and updates the Calibration Master List.
• Maintains calibration records.
• Maintains training and qualification records of personnel.
• Performs annual audit of field “VR” projects.
• Responsible for successful passing of all National Board, customer and vendor audits.
• Prepares and certifies all customer required documentation.

They will also act as the day to day point of contact for all other Midwest Valve Services locations. This role will work with each locations designated QA Site Leads. The point of contact responsibilities for all the other locations includes:

• Train each QA site Lead and be the MVS point of contact for all QA questions
• Coordinate all Operator Qualification (OQ) activities (training coordination, exam proctor, maintaining training records) for all MVS
• Provide technical over site and assistance for all MVS audits (OEM, Product, internal, field, and National Board
• Provide accountability for all MVS for the execution of daily, monthly, quarterly QA tasks
• Lead monthly QA meeting

Education and/or Experience:

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Extensive and exceptional customer services practices.
• High computer application literacy including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal business systems.
• Five plus years of valve repair experience to include pressure relief, on/off and quarter turn valves.

Additional Requirements:

• Understanding of order processing systems and delivery channels.
• Able to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly to customer needs.
• Quickly embraces, learns and applies new technology and/or procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication skills and proven ability to maintain high customer service.
• Proven ability to build and support teamwork.
• Will need to qualify as a National Board Certified Individual.

Pay:

• $60,000-$85,000, inclusive of bonus potential.
