Job Summary:

We are currently seeking Gift Shop Cashier/Sales Associate to join our Ululani’s Marketplace team! Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice is hiring for a full time and part time Cashier/Sales Associate for our Merchandise (Merchandice Store, Located at 790 Front St., Lahaina, HI 96761).

The ideal candidate will be able to connect with customers, build strong relationships and increase clientele through identifying client needs, delivering exceptional customer service and following up with clients to ensure satisfaction. We provide flexibility on shift days and times (when possible), and offer competitive pay. We also have a great staff discount on our merch and Shave Ice!

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greets customers as they enter the location.
• provide fast, friendly, and accurate check out services for our customers.
• Accepts and processes payment via credit or debit cards for items purchased.
• Assists customers with questions, available sizing, colors etc.
• Assists customers in locating various products, resolving complaints, or providing information.
• Bag/wrap purchased items.
• Stock and merchandise products
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Self motivated, timely and punctual.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Knowledgeable about companies’ products and services, and customer-related policies.
• Perform all regular cleaning activities, and other tasks included in your job assignment(s).
• Must be flexible to adjust tasks and priorities when necessary to meet business needs.
• Positive and welcoming attitude

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of on-the-job training.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and working on cash register or related equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• May need to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.

Our hours of operation are 11am – 8pm (summer may affect hours).
