Summary:

The Project Manager for Veterinary Wellness Programs will play a critical role in driving overall growth by providing an intense and dedicated focus on the company’s Wellness Plan business segment. Through its Wellness Plan offerings, NewDay provides industry-leading preventative care for thousands of pets while ensuring piece-of-mind and value for clients. This leader will seek ways to optimize the overall program, help patients and clients realize the full benefit of their plans, and grow our Wellness Plan client population to create increased value for patients, clients, and the company.

This position will be based in Pet Paradise’s Jacksonville corporate office and reports directly to the VP of Operations. The individual will be a key member of the company’s veterinary leadership team and will work directly with field operations teams as well as cross-functionally with different departments and external vendor partners to effectively analyze data and develop initiatives aimed at driving growth and value while fostering an environment of continuous improvement.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead initiatives aimed at driving new plan growth as well as current plan retention
  • Conduct detailed data analysis to fully understand client behavior/market dynamics and use to optimize Wellness Plan offerings and internal processes
  • Develop and implement a plan for managing client non-payment issues, including ways to highlight Wellness Plan value in maintaining overall pet health and wellness
  • Coordinate and lead efforts with company’s outbound call-center for Wellness Plan client reach-out
  • Serve as primary liaison with partnered Wellness Plan management vendor; manage continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing platforms specific to NewDay’s requirements
  • Work directly with field operations teams and headquarters departments (Marketing, IT, etc.) on projects designed to promote Wellness Plan adoption and retention
  • Prepare/deliver regular progress reports and presentations
  • Lead and/or participate on project teams

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 3-5 years of Project Management experience
  • Proficiency working with data management systems
  • Veterinary or medical field experience is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong ability to plan, prioritize, and see actions through to completion
  • Strong understanding of team dynamics
  • Driven, goal oriented, and conscientious


Physical Demands:


  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will primarily be in an office environment, with some remote work flexibility
  • This is largely a sedentary role where the individual will be required to remain in a stationary position at a computer for long periods of time
  • Some standing, bending, lifting and manual dexterity may be necessary

Pay starts at 75K and is commensurate with experience.
