PROJECT MANAGER

An organized, confident, and reliable person who will supervise all aspects of their assigned projects. The project manager is responsible for making a minimum level of gross profit to cover their portion of the company’s overhead and expenses. The Project Manager will be tasked with directing and coordinating the construction team and all subcontractors, ensuring tools, equipment, and material are available, preparing reports, negotiating contracts, and analyzing risks and ensuring the site is always safe. You should be able to work well within a team and liaise with external vendors. To be successful as a Project Manager, you should have in-depth knowledge of construction management and be familiar with health and safety regulations. Likewise, an analytical mind, superb organizational skills, and good negotiation strategies are needed.

Project Manager Duties & Responsibilities:

· Negotiating the best contracts to ensure maximum profitability.

· Coordinating with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules

· Meeting with project team members regularly (minimum weekly) to identify and resolve issues.

· Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget, including weekly updating of project CPO log

· Overseeing relevant permits and licenses.

· Overseeing the necessary resources (time, cost, labor, materials) for each project, projecting them, and identifying deficiencies well in advance of those deficiencies.

· Hiring staff and contractors.

· Providing guidance and supervision.

· Managing all staff onsite, either directly or in coordination with other supervisors.

· Assessing the progress and performance of all workers involved.

· Performing detailed analyses and drawing up reports for relevant stakeholders.

· Ensuring compliance with all building, safety, and governmental regulations.

· Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients.

· Identifying and developing new opportunities with clients.

· Managing customer satisfaction within project transition period.

· Conducting post project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.

· Never lose a customer

Project Manager Requirements:

· Plumbing Mechanical Construction required.

· Advanced understanding of mechanical construction processes, principles, materials, and tools.

· Excellent leadership abilities exhibited in a servant-leader style.

· Great time management and organizational skills.

· The ability to communicate clearly.

· Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
