Job description
The Project Manager IV (Scheduler) provides Agile project control and scheduling for DP3 projects/acquisitions. DPS and MilMove are the main system projects with acquisition of services to include: GHC, CSS (survey), NTS (storage), GPC (POVs).
Responsibilities and Daily Tasks
Possess strong ability and/or understanding to/of:
- Effectively analyze a VersionOne backlog; discern right level of stories and epics; to create a WBS for each effort represented (e.g., DPS, MilMove, etc.)
- Combine multiple WBSs with other schedules to form a DP3 IMS.
- IMSs, schedule dependencies and critical path analysis.
- Each DP3 projects/acquisitions, IMSs and dependencies – especially inter-project dependencies
- Analyze impact of delays and major schedule changes.
- Problem-solve and provide recommendations for corrective actions to keep projects within scope and on time.
- Create and brief Program Managers and Leadership on schedule status of DP3 projects/acquisitions
- Effectively interface and communicate with other internal team members and external stakeholders to gather inputs, provide status, etc.
- Coordinate, participate and facilitate planning meetings and backlog reviews with internal team members and external stakeholders
- Work independently
- Agile SAFe methodology, VersionOne, JIRA, O365 Office
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 10+ years of IT-related experience that includes MS Project experience
- Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
- Bachelor’s Degree
- MS Project certification
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Active PMP certification
- Agile SAFe Certification
