We have an immediate need for a Project Manager/Consultant to come on board and provide expert knowledge and assist us in setting up and establishing our Customer strategy and process.

We require this specialist to bring expertise to existing structure, as our model relies on the business owner of the service or product to provide the scope and industry knowledge.


This 6-12 month project will evaluate, review and develop the way we engage and work with our 3rd party contractor delivery partners. As Project Manager/Consultant you will assessment our ways of working and implement the changes needed to enable us to provide a simple and efficient customer journey. The aim is to deliver a consistent 10 out of 10 customer experience, from acceptance through to scheduling and the construction work on site.

You will ensure that the project is developed in phases, commencing with the assessment of current process, ensuring the phases/project is delivered on time and that all relevant stakeholders are engaged as appropriate.

KEY DELIVERABLES


  • To create a plan and scope of requirements in line with the project objectives;
  • Manage and deliver the project in time, associated resources and on budget;
  • Responsibility for creating budget management and engagement with Finance Business Partner for tracking and reporting;
  • Manage the steering group to ensure that the plan is delivered on time and in line with all ENWL policies;
  • Lead and support the key members of the steering group including the Project Lead, Finance Lead, External Contractor Leads, HR Business Partner and Connections Domestic Manager;
  • Develop any tenders as required following the scope agreement;
  • Clear documented procedures of structure changes required to support the management of new ways of working;
  • Evaluate all models of insource / outsourcing for business / customer benefits and manage the associated risks and processes;
  • Commercial risks and opportunities managed alongside the ENWL commercial and contract team, to ensure all ENW contracts are updated accordingly as agreed;
  • Develop productivity measures and associated rate changes in accordance to the plan;
  • Have clear engagement plan to ensure that the impacted employees and union have ongoing visibility of the project;
  • Managing the end to end change processes including technological, people or polices;

The Customer team are based in Salford and Preston therefore this contract will require travel to both, there may also be occasional travel to other ENWL offices and depots to collaborate with other areas.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUAIFICATIONS NEEDED


  • Strong Project Management with associated qualification / experience
  • Project experience within utilities and scheduling / customer services
  • Commercial / estimating skills
  • Industry knowledge
  • Contract management
  • Good Communication Skills, including stakeholder management
  • Budget controls
  • Influencing Skills
  • Data analytics
  • Risk Management experience


This role has been assessed and falls outside IR35. If you successfully secure this contract, you will be payrolled through one of our recruitment partners.
