Job description
Responsibilities:
- Work with senior management on the development of new Gas Infusion systems from design through launch.
- Conduct research across several industries to assist the aggressive R&D programs of the Company.
- Work on design and prototyping of new systems.
- Coordinate manufacturing scheduling with component suppliers, brand managers and procurement.
- Work with both internal and external R&D and manufacturing teams to ensure project goals and launch schedules are met.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal departments.
- Create formal project communication plans with key project metrics and dashboards for project status communication.
- When necessary, write and publish technical process documentation related to projects.
- Identify and document all project milestones and deliverables and keep project plans up to date at all times, including resource allocations, tracking hours, monitoring schedules, percentage completion, etc.
- Conduct site visits to assist with systems installations, project monitoring, and system maintenance.
- Represent Prosper in a professional and responsible manner when communicating with others both inside and outside the company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred or Bachelor’s degree in a related science, may consider candidates without a degree given applicable work experience.
- Positive attitude in stressful situations and flexibility with last minute changes.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, while thinking quickly on your feet.
- Strong scheduling and calendar management skills.
- Ability to pinpoint problems and find creative solutions.
- Excellent computer skills and comprehension of Word, PowerPoint, Keynote and Excel. Previous experience with 3D design software strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Detail-oriented, resourceful and able to manage shifting priorities.
- Passionate self-motivation requiring minimal oversight; proven ability to work independently with little direction, to achieve project timelines.
- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment.
- A spontaneous, honest and open attitude.
- No travel restrictions as there will be some project based travel within the U.S. and internationally.
- Must be able to physically work at Prosper’s main office in Miami, FL.
