Our Project Estimators are customer advocates who help get ideas onto paper and make them a reality.

Yes, we look for someone who can learn how to estimate metal roofing and post frame building projects -- but more than that we look for someone who we can trust, someone that is respectful, someone that cares about integrity and excellence. What should you expect as a Project Estimator at True Metal Supply?

You should expect to be respected. It is a fundamental belief of ours that everyone deserves to be treated with respect, especially the members of our team who are helping us build an amazing company.

You should expect to have fun. If you're a stick in the mud, please don't apply. We're not interested in being around a grouch.

You should expect to work hard. We work. Hard. We set goals to hit 'em. Your expectations and goals will be crystal clear and you'll be responsible for reaching them. And when you do, we're going to celebrate.

You should expect to chip in. As a growing small business sometimes we may need you to help do something that isn't in your job description at times. At True Metal Supply we're all a team and we don't say "that's not my job".

You should expect to be treated fairly. Now, with the "that's not my job" thing in mind, you should also expect to not be overworked and underpaid. We pay our people fairly because they earn it and we don't ask you to do more than is reasonable. You have a life outside of work and you deserve to spend time doing those things.

What are the requirements?

A background in construction or building materials estimating is nice, but it isn't required. A good attitude is nice AND required. We can teach you about metal roofing and post frame. We can't make you have a good attitude.

• This position requires some brain power. You'll need to know your way around a computer, and learn new estimating software.
• You'll need to be decent at math (this isn't a test though, you can use a calculator).
• You'll need to be willing to dedicate the time to learn our products and how they work so you can effectively communicate them to our customers.
• You need to be good with people. You'll be on the front desk greeting walk in customers and answering calls to assist with projects on the phone. A smiling face goes a long way.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
