Window City Inc is a small business in Nashville, TN. Our goal is to Window City is the nation’s leading window dealer, supplier and installer for state-of-the-art commercial-grade windows and doors such as steel replica, casement, double and single hung windows. Beginning back in 1986, Window City was founded by two brothers in Clifton, New Jersey. Since then, the company has expanded their work from New Jersey up to the surrounding states of Connecticut and down to the southern states of Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama and Texas. After choosing to take the company nationwide, we have opened a second office in Nashville, Tennessee, to better meet the needs of our customers. .

Job Description

· Attend post contract job site meetings if necessary.

· Assist all SPM’s in material take offs, job site survey’s and all other sales related prerequisites as required

· Review contracts for specific project requirements: Submittals, SOV, shop drawings, close out documents, samples, mock ups and field testing.

· Assist SPM’s with the review and/or creation of all contracts. Make sure all contracts are signed and are on file

· Prepare/submit/file all project submittals.

· Clean and organize Company and Job files on Server.

· Assist and Review SPM’s job set up in Spectrum.

· Assist PM’s with all requisitions and ensure they are done according to contract dates, schedules, and SOV

· Be one of Window City Inc.’s representatives at all field and lab testing of windows and doors

· Work closely with all job PM’s & Supers in project coordination

· Record all data such as PO’s and Change Orders in Spectrum

· Assist the SPM with project management from inception to completion

· Assist the Field Supers to monitor punch-list items and help prepare project closeout documents to ensure prompt final payments.

· Work with PM in preparation of all Sub-contract Agreements and enter into spectrum if needed

· Confirm all contracts are signed and saved on the server

· Confirm all Vendor and Sub-contractor requisitions for payment. Must confirm all amounts with SPM and ensure all work is complete.

· Verify all subcontractors and vendors meet all requirements of insurance and documentation needed to be set up in Spectrum.

· Assist SPM’s and PM’s with bid solicitations, bid documents when necessary

Qualifications, Critical Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

1. A knowledge of Architectural & General Construction practices and of the construction industry.

2. Basic knowledge of Microsoft programs

3. Maintain a high degree of integrity, loyalty and honesty; not divulge to outside parties information of a confidential nature pertaining to the Window City’s operations or bids.

4. Ability to get along with people, work well in teams and to communicate in a professional manner with Owners, Contractors, Vendors, and others having a direct interest in a respective project.

5. Ability to carry out the duties described in the job description in a timely and efficient manner.

6. Ability to assist Sales Project Managers, Project Managers and Project Superintendents in resolving problems regarding materials, deliveries, schedules, etc.

7. Ability to maintain and supervise adequate estimate and project files.

8. Maintain thorough knowledge of company procedures manual.

9. Ability to work in an ever-changing environment with ongoing interruptions.

10. Ability to perform job duties with a sense of urgency; Fast-paced, up-tempo style.

11. Ability to understand the strategic context of issues and make smart recommendations.

12. Excellent spoken and written communication skills.

13. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

14. Detail oriented, well organized, and ability to multi-task in a results oriented business environment.

15. Strong organizational, analytical, and math skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,906.00 - $47,064.00 per year
