Job description

We seek a SharePoint Developer to join our team. This position will develop and maintain enterprise solutions for the University of Utah Health intranet and help plan and execute tasks related to a new intranet/employee portal initiative. You will work closely with a team of business analysts and U of U employees to assess the needs of various business lines and develop web solutions, custom forms, workflows, and applications to help optimize efficiency.

Responsibilities
Technical Requirements
  • SharePoint-related development
  • Knowledge of the SharePoint ecosystem, including lists, libraries, sites, workflows, timer jobs, web parts, WSP solution packaging, REST web services, event receivers, and the Server/Client/JavaScript object models
  • Experience with .NET, C#, Angular, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, SQL
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Git is a plus
  • Ability to use, create, and maintain technological solutions in SharePoint that will increase the operational efficiency of business lines
  • Experience in other technology stacks, including Microsoft 365 and Azure, is a plus
Responsibilities:
1. Troubleshoot and seek resolution for system errors and bugs
2. Client web services
3. Meet deliverable deadlines
4. Develop new technical knowledge and professional skills on a continual basis
5. Follow and practice current IT policies and procedures, and development methodologies
6. Collaborate with customers and technical staff to resolve issues and develop solutions
7. Conduct process and requirement reviews to ensure quality
8. Develop, test, implement, document, and maintain business system solutions within SharePoint platforms
9. Assist with ServiceNow requests as needed
10. Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related area, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). 2-5 years of programmer/analyst or related experience.
