ABOUT THE JOB
CHANEL is looking for a Program Manager, Latin America to join our Fondation CHANEL Team in New York. You will play a leading role in the evolution of our relationships with organizations in Latin America. This role interfaces with the Global Fondation CHANEL Team and is a key partner for the Coordinator, Americas. Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience and a passion for creating the conditions for women and girls (and other underrepresented groups) to thrive.
WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL:
The Fondation CHANEL Program Manager, Latin America will partner with the Managing Director and Team to draft impact narratives for the Latin America portfolio, representing Fondation CHANEL externally and within Chanel Inc. In partnership with the Impact and Learning Lead and the rest of the Americas team, the Program Manager will develop a learning agenda and lead the reflection and learning process for Latin America region.
YOU ARE ENERGIZED BY:
  • Partnering with the program officer and other program manager, to determine and run the appropriate capacity-strengthening and community-building supports that will be valuable to the Fondation’s partners, working closely with and drawing upon the resources of Chanel Community wherever appropriate
  • Leading the continued development and evolution of the Latin America grantmaking and advocacy strategy, including identification of focus countries and regional priorities
  • Using the Americas strategic plan, annual workplan and budget as foundations and guides, lead prospection for new partners, including research, networking, due diligence and shepherding the approval process
  • Managing relationships with most Latin America partners, throughout the full partnership cycle
  • Supporting the US Program Manager with US partnerships that are conducted mostly in Spanish
  • Identifying and building relevant networks for Fondation CHANEL to participate in and represent the Fondation in those areas, using the relationships and community building to drive learning, collaboration and impact
  • Keeping the rest of the team abreast of learnings and developments emerging from the networks that are relevant to the Fondation’s technical, programmatic and advocacy agendas
  • Travel to visit partners and relevant stakeholders regularly, according to a well-prioritized and personally healthy and sustainable travel plan

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $118,500 to $144,500. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other components will include additional compensation, benefits and perks.
