Segue is a non-profit outpatient mental health facility providing quality mental health services to the citizens of Jackson & Hillsdale counties in Michigan for over 30 years, offering intensive and essential services and programs.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Driver provides safe, efficient transportation for consumers from their homes to the program office and back to their homes. Segue's hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. The schedule will work between these hours with a minimum of 32 hours per week. Pay is $12.00 per hour.
REQUIREMENT: The successful candidate for this position must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Successful completion of high school or equivalent
- Must be 21 years of age or older and a licensed driver
- Must possess a valid Michigan Chauffeur driver's license or obtain a Chauffer license within 3 months of hire
- Must have a clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years on MVR and no license suspensions within the past 5 years.
- Must be knowledgeable of area roads
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely operates the company vehicle.
- Responds to requests for pick-ups or drop-offs and maintain an up-to-date list of scheduled transportation needs.
- Reports accidents, malfunctions, or damage to the vehicle.
- Inspects the exterior and interior of the vehicle at beginning of each shift. Completes safety inspection each month with the Safety officer.
- Ensures the inside and outside of the vehicle are cleaned and fueled on an ongoing basis.
- Completes driver trip sheets.
- You may be required to use a personal vehicle if the agency van is unavailable.
- Required to work additional hours or other duties as directed by Administration.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The rate of pay is $12.00
