Metal-Matic, Inc. is a progressive and major manufacturer in highly engineered steel tubing. We provide products to manufacturers in multiple industries including automotive, construction, agriculture, appliance, energy, recreation and many others.
This full-time, hourly position is located at 7200 Narragansett Ave in Bedford Park, IL and works 2nd shift Monday through Friday, 3:00pm-11:00pm.
Benefits include: Health coverage, 401(k) profit sharing, bonus program, vacation time and nine paid holidays. We offer starting pay of $17.30-$19.35 per hour depending on experience with shift differential and overtime opportunities.
Position Overview
As a production worker at Metal-Matic, you will demonstrate your commitment to quality by performing a variety of job duties. These may include: setting up and operating a tube mill or other various production machines, material handling using overhead cranes and forklifts and packaging and inspecting material ensuring the product meets customer requirements.

We also offer a retention bonus of $1500 after one year of employment paid in three installments - $250 at 90 days, $250 at six months and $1000 at the one year anniversary.
Position Overview

These may include: setting up and operating a tube mill or other various production machines, material handling using overhead cranes and forklifts and packaging and inspecting material ensuring the product meets customer requirements.

- Maintaining product quality
- Operating machinery
- Ensuring that jobs are completed according to the customer requirements

To qualify, you will bring:
- The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
