Responsible for the execution of inventory supply and demand requirements by developing and maintaining schedules to achieve maximum efficiency and meet timeline objectives. Gathers demand data from internal teams, utilizes ERP systems and other database tools to develop synchronized work center plans. Develops daily schedules for operations and monitors daily production results revising schedules as needed to ensure materials and work in process align with finished good requirements. Communicates effectively with manufacturing management, other planners, and sourcing to ensure synchronous planning of packaging, WIP, raw materials & finished good production. Monitor, communicate and implement engineering change orders. Responsible for raw and WIP inventory levels. Responsible for customer service on-time performance. Must have a working knowledge of manufacturing requirements planning (MRP II) as performed via enterprise requirements planning (ERP) computer software applications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Coordinates with capacity planner/master scheduler to develop and ultimately execute a master production schedule.

· Utilizes an ERP system to determine quantities and requirement dates for work in process (WIP) and initiates WIP manufacturing work orders or the purchasing process for raw materials.

· Develops and executes production plans to maximize efficiency and ensure timely production to meet customers’ expectations.

· Issues manufacturing work orders.

· Utilizes databases & ERP systems to monitor inventory availability to release available work to operations.

· Maintains a daily schedule for various work centers, monitoring progress to schedule, adjusting schedules as needed to align components and schedules with customer ship dates.

· Executes schedules with minimum supervision, by communicating with sales, marketing, shipping and item setup to ensure alignment.

· Coordinate directly with outside suppliers to align delivery on critical tooling or components.

Required Education:

• BS degree in business, supply chain or related field of study.
• APICS certified preferred.

Required Length & Type of Experience:

4+ years experience in manufacturing planning and processes

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Proficient in an ERP system (Oracle or SAP preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 software package.
• Excel proficiency required (including pivot tables & formulas, power query is a plus)
• Access and PowerPoint proficiency preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledgeable in planning and scheduling processes.
• Ability to work independently to manage multiple work center demand loads based on agreed timing, and efficiency goals.
