Job Description

The Product Specialist responsibile for providing product support to internal and external customers for decorative outdoor lighting products and poles. In this role you will utilize technical and product knowledge, customer interaction skills, strong cross functional relationships, and collaborate with sales, product and marketing teams.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Understand key product and business capabilities, submittal drawings, competitive landscape and agent relationships
  • Support sales team and agents by providing technical support and specifications to help in specification of decorative products and poles.
  • Cultivate a ONE Current mentality and drive commercial understanding of products and solutions with our channel partners and sales team.
  • Partner with key internal stakeholders: product management team to launch new products effectively, marketing to feed and collaborate with downstream actions such as Web and Branding, and Sales to ensure relevant market back VOC is being captured.
  • Work with product management and other product specialist to update key technical and IES files to website and other internal shared drive.
  • Participate in trade shows, agent visits and training sessions as required.
  • Lead key special projects identified by team when requested.

Qualifications
  • 5+ Years of lighting experience
  • Requires high energy, assertiveness, and self-motivated individual to work in a fast-paced technical and business environment with limited direction.
  • Requires strong communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Strong planning, problem solving, and analytical skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Able to articulate a solution to a customer.

Desired Qualifications

  • BS Business or engineering degree
  • Previous Experience in LED Outdoor products Industry
  • Business and Product Experience
  • Individual must be a self-starter, creative and strategic thinker who has a passion for products, customers, and marketing.
  • Works with SAP
  • Ability to determine priorities
  • Understanding of Photometrics and related software

Compensation

The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more. This salary range is 90,000-110,000.
