Job description
We're looking for someone with previous experience working as a legal assistant in a Law Firm to join our growing Estate Planning and Probate team! The right person will be friendly, have a keen attention to detail, and enjoy helping others. This person requires a high level of empathy as many of the clients we are working with are going through very challenging times. Our team is growth-oriented, and teamwork is one of our core values.
Compensation:$36,000 - $42,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Start and Open Estate Planning and Probate Files
- Input the necessary information for the new files into our Case Management Software System
- Assist the Attorney and Paralegal in drafting pleadings for the Probate Cases and documents for our Estate Planning clients
- Coordinate with clients to sign estate planning and probate documents and request any necessary documentation from clients for the furtherance of their case
- Previous experience in customer service and working with people
- Law firm experience and Probate and Estate Planning experience are a plus but not required
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required
- Live in close proximity to our Law Offices
