DESCRIPTION

The European Private Assets FX Sales team is an exciting and growing part of the Fixed Income Division business that provides tailored FX hedging solutions to the private asset client base.
We are looking for a dynamic analyst/associate to assist in servicing this client set. This is a client-facing role with the key responsibilities being real-time market updates, prospecting clients, supervising the onboarding of new clients, FX execution including the management of post-trade workflow as well as structuring FX ideas. Additionally, the analyst/associate will collaborate with various internal teams such as credit, legal, trading, strategy and support teams to actively manage ongoing client relationships.
Our ambition is to become a trusted advisor to the Private Asset clients, increase wallet share, bring new relationships to Morgan Stanley and improve profitability whilst protecting the bank.

Department Profile:
The Fixed Income Division is comprised of Interest Rate and Currency Products, Credit Products and Distribution. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manages risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets. The Commodities Division is a market leader across a broad range of commodities markets, with expertise in areas including client risk management, financing solutions and investor products Sales & Trading.
From the largest global institutions to innovative new hedge funds, investors come to Morgan Stanley for sales, trading, and market-making services in almost every type of financial instruments including stocks, bonds, derivatives, foreign exchange, and commodities. Our professionals provide liquidity and content to clients around the world, actively assessing and managing risk, trading securities, and planning and executing transactions in the fast-changing markets. As the needs of our clients become increasingly complex, we often develop customized solutions.
What will you be doing?
  • Ownership of client relationship
  • Providing market updates
  • Execution of FX trades
  • Management of post-trade workflow
  • Client prospecting
  • Leveraging of existing firm relationship to increase our client base
  • Collaborate across various internal teams
  • Liaising with credit and legal teams to manage the onboarding of new clients. #LI-SD1

QUALIFICATIONS

What we’re looking for:
  • Strong self-starter mindset and be able to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Some experience working in markets preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, easily able to navigate and simplify complex processes
  • Interested in the markets and macro-environment

This role is deemed as a Certified role and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.
