This is a full-time position that works 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday. The Starting pay is $14 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. This is an onsite position at our center located: 1108 Peachtree Street, Cocoa FL 32922
The Preschool Teacher plans and implements curriculum, serves as a model and mentor, and coordinates engaging developmental activities for children. What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
- Lead by example and encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching
- Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth
- Follow all Britt's Academy policies and state regulations
- Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement
What We Need from You:
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field of study preferred
- Minimum of 30 Credits in ECE, 45 DCF hours required
- CDA for infants and Toddlers highly preferred
- Must clear a full background check
- At least 1 year of professional early childhood training/experience
- VPK endorsement is a plus
- CPR Certification and First Aid Certifications plus
