Position Summary

This position will be responsible for supporting the Bakken Planning Supervisor as a technician. The role has primary responsibility for supporting implementation and management of Lean Production Control for the Bakken Project Team. Other duties may be added to the job as mutually agreed upon by employee and supervisor.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Liaison between Strategic Project Solutions and the Bakken Well Factory
• Work directly with Strategic Project Solutions to ensure work requests are completed and troubleshoot technical or system issues
• Provide support to all users/teams of the SPS|PM software
• Provide onsite support and facilitation for Lean Production Control meetings as needed
• Provide/coordinate software training for users of various knowledge bases
• Create and maintain Hess enterprise SPS|PM and Lean Production Controls training documentation with other asset representatives
• Monitor active projects and teams within production manager for consistency with respect to project structure
• Quality check information contained within the SPS production manager to maintain system accuracy and reliability
• Update SPS|PM with the approved production schedule dates
• Facilitate and/or guide various teams during mapping sessions
• Aid in creation of new projects and teams in advance of LPC process implementation
• Support for advanced SPS|PM users, their responsibilities and training
• Support for maintaining current project dashboard metrics, reports and coordinating the updates between groups within the Bakken Project Team

Qualifications

• Highly motivated self-starter willing to accept responsibility and accountability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to identify and prioritize work to meet both short-term and long-term deadlines
• Familiarity with Lean concepts
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong computer skills primarily excel, access, and web based systems
• Ability to multi-task and be flexible

Education, Training & Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in math, science or business preferred but not required
