PICC RN and Vascular Access Consultant

VIC THE PICC - MidSouth PICCs is a company dedicated to providing its customers with the best vascular access services available. As a PICC Nurse with VIC the PICC - MidSouth PICCs, you will work outside the walls of a hospital setting. As a VIC the PICC - MidSouth PICCs Vascular Access Consultant RN you will:

• Place PICCs, Midlines and peripheral IVs with ultrasound and use ECG confirmation.
• Assist with management of PICCs and Vascular Access devices
• Provide a wide range of vascular access including but not limited to port access, removal of lines, declotting PICCs, etc.
• Educate nursing staff regarding PICCs, Midlines and many other CVADs

In this role, you will be visiting patients in different facilities. You must be willing to travel to patients and be able to participate in on-call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs.

Per-Diem requirements: 4 full days per month, which may include weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Required Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with current license
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in acute care preferred
• Experienced in PICC placements with ultrasound
• Have and maintain current CPR certification
• Possess a current and valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Ability to work independently
• Participate in on-call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs
• Must possess a smart phone
• Access to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel to patient sites
• Must LOVE Vascular Access

VIC the PICC - MidSouth PICCs offers the following services 24/7/365: PICC/Midline placement with Ultrasound, ECG guidance technology for PICC confirmation, Peripheral IV insertions, declotting, line removal, port access, and 24/7/365 triage nursing services.
