Nemours is seeking a Physical Security Technology Manager (Full-Time), to join our Nemours Children's Health team in either Jacksonville, Florida, Orlando, Florida or Wilmington, Delaware.

This position will develop, integrate, build, and help maintain daily operations of the Physical Security technology utilized across the Nemours Enterprise. This position has extensive knowledge of system design and an array of information technologies. This position will evaluate and recommend technologies required to fulfill the technology needs of the Physical Security department and organization while complying with the enterprise-level infrastructure architecture and design principles. This position will maintain direct supervision responsibility for the Physical Security Specialists and assist in setting the direction and design for security system technologies and workload. Technical architecture, project, process and vendor management skills required.

This position requires the individual to possess skills or knowledge regarding system monitoring, reporting, auditing of system events, system services, applications, and network/telecom technologies. This role will provide procedures, governance and solution options for security systems as well as provide guidance for updating security system infrastructure hardware. This includes delivering education, conducting security investigations, and mitigating potential security system infrastructure downtimes or events. A focus of this position will be to work with other teams to develop solutions for collaboration, access and surveillance and other areas. Daily work will include working with external/internal parties to progress projects and solutions as well provide guidance and standards for the security systems supported. May study, investigate, prepare reports, metrics and/or recommend preventative or corrective actions in areas requiring specific expertise. Attends appropriate huddles and meetings to represent physical security and participates / leads physical security training when appropriate. The position requires the individual to possess advanced skills in video surveillance, access control systems, duress alarm systems, visitor management and other physical security technology. The individual will also help represent security when consulting for new construction projects at all facilities within the Nemours enterprise. This position will continuously support the enterprise and assist in the enterprise-class physical security product suite. The position will provide technical solution options to all levels of management and provide guidance for updating all relevant hardware. Will conduct daily system health checks and mediate discovered risks and vulnerabilities. Will conduct regular access control audits for designated high-risk areas and validate through appropriate leadership.

• Evaluate and provide solutions which support the physical security needs of the business yet maintain the integrity of the enterprise.
• Manage relationships of internal stakeholders, analyze problems, manage outside contractors, drive configurations and procedure implementations, drive complex physical security system design and implementations and communicate effectively to multiple audiences and levels of management.
• Provide governance/expertise for security system implementations into the Nemours technical environment including complex system integrations and the impacts on all facets of the business, engaging in quick and concise methods for proactive notification of issues to mitigate impacts on business operations and patient care. Able to engage in quick and concise troubleshooting methods to resolve issues and mitigate impacts on security, business operations and patient care.
• Provide guidance for new and upcoming technologies and processes. Develop consistent processes and documentation, by understanding the hierarchy of policies, standards, and procedures, creating valuable document artifacts, and working with all stakeholders to help ensure those processes and documents are effective and easy to comprehend.
• Assist in the growth and maintenance of the Nemours Physical Security program including all present and future physical security technology and practices utilized to secure Nemours patients, visitors, families, associates, vendors, contractors and others on Nemours property.
• Administer, provide guidance for backend security technology. Provide expertise on multi-system integrations to maintain patient and associate safety. Ability to communicate vulnerabilities to key stakeholders and collaborate on appropriate mitigation and/or prevention strategies.
• Manage projects as assigned by Director. Coordinate the enterprise access control and video surveillance solution design, implementation, and maintenance. Provides advice and guidance on budgetary requirements for physical security equipment, systems, and space alterations for physical security operational and capital projects as well as day to day operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required or a minimum of 5 years equivalent work experience is required in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of five (5)+ years experience required.
• Technical architecture, project, process and vendor management skills required.
• CCENT, CCNA or other Infrastructure related training preferred.
• Travel required to all Nemours locations.
