Pharmacy Cashier

Local independent pharmacy looking for a dependable pharmacy cashier that can complete register sales transactions. You will undertake other tasks under the direction of a pharmacist to provide excellent communication skills and customer service to ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly. As a cashier you must be detail-oriented and reliable.
*Floating between our Morgantown, Bruceton Mills and Kingwood, WV location is possible.

Friday and Weekend availability required.

*Weekends required

• *Must pass Drug Screen and Background Check*

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and complete sales transactions

• Utilization of cash register by scanning items, itemizing and totaling customers' purchases.

• Sort and stock Over The Counter products and monitor inventory

• Resolves customer issues and answers questions.

• Undertake secretarial tasks (answering phones) as assigned.

• Comply with all security measures and quality standards

Skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Reliable with a keen eye for detail
• Knowledge of pharmacy setting and medical terminology is a plus, not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
• Weekend availability

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Cashier: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)
