Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD) is seeking a Pediatric Therapist to join Pediatric Developmental Services Department. In this position you will provide dyadic therapy services to children and caregivers whose emotional health and wellbeing have been impacted by risk factors, trauma, life stressors or the COVID 19 pandemic. The Pediatric Developmental Services Department is dedicated to providing early positive and supportive experiences for children, parents and caregivers. Supporting a child’s development in all areas (social-emotional, language, cognitive and physical) is vital for their overall well-being. This position provides opportunities to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary pediatric development team.
Job Roles:
  • Provide assessment, attachment-based and behavioral therapy to infants, young children, and their families
  • Perform initial and on-going assessments for assigned patients
  • Complete depression/anxiety screening for caregivers
  • Participate in development and implementation of patients' individualized care plans
  • Provide treatment to assigned patients within scope of practice
  • Collaborate with Family Support Specialists to connect families with recommended resources
  • Work effectively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team
  • Complete all required documentation in accordance with department standards, FHCSD policy and patients' insurance requirements
  • Meet program/department quality standards and productivity
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Current California clinical licensure as an ASW, AMFT, or APCC
  • Ability and means to travel as needed in a timely manner within San Diego County
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred

$30 - $34
If you are hired at Family Health Centers of San Diego, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, jurisdictional requirements, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to these factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
