The General Medical department is a 20-bed unit, with a fast-paced atmosphere, specializing in stroke and sepsis, and a diverse patient population, most with multiple comorbidities. This unit takes overflow patients from other areas including trauma, telemetry, transplant, and oncology. The General Medical unit's mission is to treat every patient as if they were our own family members. This unit's team is awesome. They love working together and care about each other. The culture is positive and caring, and the team thrives on their ability to collaborate and help each other through tough shifts. Team member experience ranges from new to over 20 years - it’s a perfect mix. The unit loves people who are laid back, positive, do not stress easily, and can work with a ratio of 1 nurse to 5 patients. Pay Range:

What You Bring/Job Requirements:
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- Six months previous CNA experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Basic computer skills
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- High School diploma or GED required within one year of hire
- Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program preferred
- State registered CNA license required
- BLS from the American Heart Association required
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred. CPI training required if sitting with M-1 holds
Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

$18.00 - $26.08 / hour
