Patient Services Specialist for ENT Specialty (Gateway)

The Oregon Clinic Division of Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose, and Throat) is seeking a full-time Patient Services Specialty for their Gateway location, with some coverage to the Gateway location as needed. Responsibilities include welcoming and greeting patients, collecting co-pays, obtaining and completing insurance information, answering phones, scheduling new and existing patient appointments, scanning, updating records, and other duties as assigned. We are searching for an experienced candidate with a friendly demeanor, great positive attitude, and customer-focused work ethic. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of medical front office experience and has the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Starting pay range, based on experience: $17.61 - $23.83 per hour.
Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of medical front office experience in a specialty clinic preferred
- Prior scheduling experience required
- Prior experience with Centricity preferred
- Excellent phone skills and customer service skills
- Exceptional attendance and work ethic
- Positive attitude and desire to be a team player
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff and providers
