The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager in leading a customer focused, top-line sales driven, profitable and productive store location. Successful Assistant Store Managers at PacSun inspire and motivate others by exhibiting excellence in our core values while maintaining a customer focused selling culture, and ensuring the execution of the Store’s daily operational goals. Assistant Store Managers also must hold store associates accountable to following all policies and procedures, meet business sales goals and create compelling customer experiences.

At PacSun our Assistant Manager’s partner with their Store Manager to:

· Support associate engagement by recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance

· Provide direction to associates to ensure understanding of company directives and standards

· Understands how PacSun stores operate with regard to staffing, payroll, marketing and visual merchandising and meets all execution and compliance goals

· Demonstrate business acumen including (but not limited to) how sales, profitability, inventory, markdowns, etc. affect the larger organization

· Passion for the products and brands we sell

· Knowledgeable of current fashion and trends

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Minimum of 1 year of relevant leadership experience

· Must be 18 years of age

· Able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights and weekends

· Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with customers and store team

· Previous retail or stock experience required
